Local Walks
There are many stunning walks just a couple of minutes from the venue. Here are just a few suggestions.
Dartmoor:

Most of the walks that we would recommend (particularly Burrator reservoir, the wild expanse of moor across Princetown, and the beautiful, sedate Cadover Bridge to Dewerstone walk) are included in the links above, but here are a couple more to consider:
Clearbrook cycle path. Disabled access on this walk is excellent, the cycle path is tarmac and the car park is right next to the path.
To get here: Follow the road up towards the moor. You will pass the Dartmoor Diner on your left. Take the second right marked 'Clearbrook'. Follow this road until you come to a small bridge. Park in the car park just before this bridge on the right and cross the road to join the cycle path. The adjacent golf course is also accessible but we would ask that people are respectful of those who are paying to use these facilities.

Bellever woods is a little further afield but is well worth a visit. It is a beautiful, vast woodland area near Postbridge.
